Hands On! 2nd Annual Summer Golf Classic a Huge Success
The Hands On! Regional Museum 2nd Annual Summer Golf Classic, held July 28th at the Johnson City Country Club was a huge success raising $15,000.
Players were treated to goody bags filled with items donated by area businesses; breakfast biscuits provided by Hardee's; lunch by Honey Hotdogs; an ice cream social provided by Food City #601; beverages provided by Honeywell, Eastman Credit Union, Cherokee Distributing, Holston Distributing, and Le Bleu Water; door prizes; and a fun day for everyone.
The Mountain Commerce Bank Team, Kenneth Raff; Mike Davis; Chris Lowe; and Bob Cooley, took home first place in the Men's Division and the Verizon Team, Janie Whittimore; Cindy Barbarito; Dianne Whitson; and Jill Rogers, placed first in the Women's Division. Additional contests were longest drive, putting contest, and closest to the pin.
